All I’m saying is, today at lunch a woman came up to our table and told me that I was beautiful and looked like a model. She had no clue that just 3 weeks ago I was on the operating table being cut open in an unplanned c-section and let me tell you…I almost sobbed into my Caesar salad. You truly can never underestimate a moment of kindness shown to a stranger!

On another note, this jumpsuit was a late night hospital buy from Amazon and okay hiiii I love it. Worth every penny. All linked on my LTK! Wearing size small for reference.

Saturdaying well with iced coffee, macarons and all pink everything. This momma is thoroughly enjoying getting back into cute clothes and back out into the world. I’m two weeks postpartum and, while still recovering (shoutout to my other unplanned c-section mommas), I’m feeling back to normal more and more every day. A woman’s body is such a fierce and incredible thing!

P.S.S - I ordered this Amazon jumpsuit while still in the hospital and I’m so glad I did, it’s perfect for postpartum comfort!

I know you’re all wondering how it went since I was so vocal about training for unmedicated labor and this post shares the raw, honest truth. It was the longest, hardest 26 hours of my life. And I’d do it all over again for my sweet girl. Funny how the hardships of labor get so fuzzy in detail once you’re on the other side of it because the other side is just so sweet 💕

We got to do a newborn photoshoot with our 11 day old peanut today and it was such a sentimental experience. I know all moms will feel me when I say this but it is truly the biggest honor of my life being my little girl’s momma.

I won’t be posting the newborn session (I’m sure you’re all already sick of me posting pictures with emojis over her face as it is 😂) but wanted to share the outfit I wore. This dress is sold out at Target but I’ve linked my accessories and our car seat/stroller!

Celebrating our original due date with our first dinner out as a family of three, finally getting those oysters I’ve been missing!

We are one week out from having our sweet baby and I’m embracing the postpartum recovery. I have quite a ways to go in terms of healing my body, but I decided to wear the dress, have dinner with the man I love, take pictures we can have of this moment and enjoy every second soaking up being a new momma.

This dress is an Amazon find and I want it in every floral color way. So good!
