Hello my friends!
The title of this post is a tad misleading, because I actually do not think that tie dye is the best trend ever. In fact, I was kinda hating it for a while and I was finding no tie dye pieces that I thought were actually pretty.
Until this dress.
I usually stay away from mass trends and lean toward more classic styles and some eccentric things that my personality loves, but aren’t necessarily what’s “in” at the moment.
But then I found a classic shaped maxi dress with lots of flow and I could just picture wearing it over and over this season. Each year when it gets warm I usually grab one dress that I know is going to be my easy go-to. Running errands, throwing on after a gym sesh and time at my gym’s pool, grabbing a bottle of white and heading to the patio, meeting up with friends for a lazy Saturday patio beer, etc. This dress fits any occasion and is just one of those I know I’m going to repeatedly grab to throw on and go.

For whatever reason, I felt like I needed to go with a Janis Joplin vibe today by straightening my hair within an inch of its life, parting it down the middle and throwing on these ultra fabulous round shades.

The shoes I grabbed for this outfit were recently gifted to me from OTBT Shoes. They’re an outrageously comfortable wedge with marine blue straps, but they come in a whole slew of other color options.

Imagine the comfort of your favorite Birkenstocks, but then making it a chic wedge that you could wear for hours without your feet getting sore. That’s these! Grab ya a pair and thank me later!
So, what do y’all think? Are you here for the tie dye trend or nah? Let me know!
XOXO, Thessali
