If you’ve been watching weather news or you live in Oklahoma, you know that us Okies are battening down the hatches and getting ready to ride out the rest of the evening and night while severe and historic tornadic storms pound our state. Right now it’s just a waiting game and so I figured while I’m stuck inside, it would be a perfect opportunity to share something fun with you!
A couple weeks ago, a skincare company out of Albuquerque, NM called Yeouth reached out to me and asked if I would like to receive some of their Hyaluronic Acid Plus anti-aging serum to test out and share with my readers. I’m actually extremely picky when it comes to any products that I use. I am not the girl with a bathroom cabinet full of products I’ve picked up over the years from Target or various drugstores. I’m extremely selective and I tend to stick to the brands I trust so I don’t just buy product just because I felt drawn to it in the store and then it sits under my sink for the next 5 years. I am 100% a product minimalist. So when Yeouth reached out, I almost didn’t want to do it because I just knew I wouldn’t like it and then I’d have a wasteful product sitting around that I wouldn’t feel comfortable endorsing to anyone who follows me. Something important to know as I continue this blogging adventure is that I will never ever recommend or try to sell a product that I haven’t already loved for years and am excited to work with that brand or that I haven’t spent a good amount of time sampling and forming an opinion on.
With that being said, I really am excited to tell you that I have loved using Yeouth’s Hyaluronic Acid Plus serum! Here’s my routine when I use it:
First I cleanse my face with charcoal facial wipes and makeup remover. I’ve been using the Danielle brand I bought from Old Navy and I love it.
Then I pump 4 drops of Yeouth Hyaluronic Acid Plus serum into the palm of hand, rub my hands together and apply to my face and neck. I pay special attention to my “problem areas” like the area between my eyebrows that are worn from years of straining my eyes looking at computer screens/books and the crows feet wrinkles on the outer part of my eyes.
Lastly I use a Beautycounter charcoal facial mist to spray down my face and neck, adding extra moisture to soak in.
When you first apply the Yeouth serum to your face, it will feel moderately slimy BUT (and this is a testament to the quality of the serum) it absorbs insanely fast. I literally loathe using products in my nighttime skincare regime that leave my face feeling sticky on my pillow. I throw those products away immediately. But this one absorbed because I even could lay my head down and I LOVED that. And y’all…when I woke up the next morning, my skin was baby soft.
I used this product every night for a week and a half to see if I could tell a difference and honestly, I really could. My crows feet wrinkles are less noticeable. I do think that if I stopped using it maybe it would go back to how it was, but I’m hoping that if I commit to incorporating Yeouth into my nightly routine that it will continue to diminish.
BONUS!! If you decide to shop Yeouth (which you can do on https://www.iherb.com/) you can use the code SOCIAL20 for 20% off!
Overall I’d say that I would comfortably recommend this as a viable skincare product for anyone looking to add to their skincare regime or to find new products to replace things that might not be working so well. Also, it needs to be said that I am not a medical professional or an esthetician and so what works for my skin might not work for yours and you should always consult a professional before you consult a blogger. But this review just happens to be my ten cents on the matter. I’m glad Yeouth reached out to me and I know I will be a return customer!
What products are you guys loving these days? Drop your recommendations in the comments! The older I get the more attention I pay to my skincare regimen and although I am very selective and picky, I’m always up for trying something new!
